  1. i just downloaded phone booth, and the background audio is crisp and plays well on the computer as an xvid in media player and as an svcd on the computer.

When i burn it as a svcd on a cdr and play it in my computers cdrom drive the background audio is also very clear.... when i say background audio i mean the parts where those little boxes pop up on the screen - like when he calls some one and it shows u what is happening on the other end.

My problem is this - when i put the burnt svcd into my dvd player(s) a TEAC 2150 and a Pioneer DV-C503 - i cant hear what is happening in those little boxes, but when its playing on the computer it has no problems. How do i fix this? FYI the audio track is a 128 bit vbr audio mp3, at 48000hz.

I tried downsampling to 44100hz @ 224bits in goldwave but it doesnt seem to work. I tried direct stream copy in virtualdub to Headac3he but it didnt finish the process. Virtualdub was my first choice just audio---->full proc mode---->save wave but it didnt help.

Im also encoding the audio at 224 bitrate

pls point me in the rite direction!
