  2. Nero will work just fine with dvd-rs (i hope you just made a typo and don't really mean dvd-ram). Get the latest version of nero from their website, update. Then when the wizard pops up, select dvd>dvd copy. Of course I hope you know that you cannot just copy a commercial dvd you buy in stores. It has to be decrypted. If you haven't decrypted your dvd, then do a forum search to learn how to do so, or click on the dvd-rip option on the left to learn how.

    Hello

Not to be rude but this is a pretty basic question.
There are guides on this site as well as the very popular doom9 website which tell you how to do this.

Now if you run into some specific problem you can come here for help but to simply ask how to copy a DVD is just crazy.

    Learn to read.

    P.S.
NERO is not the best tool.
You want the FREE program DVD DECRYPTER.

  7. Bluedevlx,

FulciLives did give you an answer, offering the Doom9 website as a way to research for the information you want. Hotwings also suggested doing a forum search for the answers you seek.

There is plenty of information on this site, but you will find that when you ask a "newbie" question that has been answered many times before, and demonstrate that you've spend little or no time in research, that other board members will be less forgiving.

You actually got a couple of good responses. Many would have just ignored the question, or have given you a smart alec answer.

  8. Sorry Guys
No excuses for what i did and it will not happen again.
    Thanks for the help
Just was in a hurry to get answers for someone that i know who actually wanted to learn and he speaks much spanish and explaining was a bit off but he understood.
I got that shrink proggy but that didn't even work because i cut the movie and it still didn't fit but i'll be checking that site when i go back to my friends house.

Thanks for your patients and time guys.
    Sorry for the disrespectful me.

  9. The easiest way without having to stuff around is by using dvd x copy. Most movies will require 2 dvdr but there are a quite a few that only require the one. If you are looking for a easy way to do it, this is it.

By using 2 dvdr, yeah, it is a pain in the a$$ because we all want it on the one disk. But there are some people that can't comprehend the whole decrpyt, strip, burn thing. So for those people dvd x copy is it.

    Put in the DVD
    Press Copy now
and follow the prompts to insert blank disks.....too easy....

I'll make sure to relay that to my friend but the problem was that he tried that program he said and then said the cd didn't work but i was not there so . there's no telling what went wrong!
    But thanks!
