Hi folks, I've done a search but didn't find anything close, so here goes:-
I have a film trailer encoded using the Xvid codec, everytime I burn it to V-CR it puts the trailer upside down. If I try to turn it into an MPEG using TMPGEnc I get an error message near the beginning that says :-
"Invalid pointer operation"
Anyone know how to stop this error message from appearing or know of another Xvid to MPEG converter
Thanks
Flea

To convert a XviD with tmpgenc you have to go into options > environmental settings, select the VFAPI plugin tab and put the DirectShow multimedia file reader at the top of the list. Then tmpgenc shouldn't give you an error message anymore.
