I have downloaded a few AVI videos and during playback, they appear in a sort of "lsd-distorted" mode, by which I mean the scenes kind of "bleed" and blend into each other, I get "ghosts" from scenes that stay on the screen for several seconds, and colors distort and blend into one another. Audio is perfect.
I have many more videos that playback perfect so it cant be my PC, I am thinking either the videos themselves are bad, or else they require some codec or something that I dont have. Any help will be appreciated.

if you downloaded them, there may have been some error in the transmission and you could download them again
