i think if you do an illegal lane change while driving , your car should lock up and start smoking.
:P -
I wonder how easy it would be to do something like that. Hack into someones computer while they are online and change BIOS settings that would overheat the CPU and destroy it. Is that even possible?

Well...
What have the boys done in washington now?
WHAT A RETARD !
Doesnt the Bill of Rights say something about privacy and the use of someone's property? -
hmmmm, i guess if u dramatically increased the cpu voltage it culd damasge an amd cpu (intel wuld declock itself automatically to keep kool.) however, i dont think it is possible 2 access bios in windows n e way, and u culd just put a password on the bios.
it is a gd idea though, attacking hardware via software1)Why Not Overclock a little?! speed 4 free!!!!
2) If your question has anything to do with copying PS2/PC/XBox games, find a more appropriate website -
It's amazing how such stupid people can get elected.

Sen. Hatch needs a rectal-celluloseotomy...
(to get that stick out of his ass). -
That's one of the stupidest things that I've ever heard. It will never work. Hatch is an idiot.
-
Yeah read this right before I logged onto the boards tonight, this guy has gotten beat with the stupid stick at some point.
The day they destroy hardware that downloads that stuff is the day those guys dig out their old 486s to download with. Or switch to macs... -
You should read his opening statement from this hearing, he tries to sound like he's protecting the consumer by keeping hackers away from their tax returns. http://hatch.senate.gov

Actually, I hear that Hatch has a trio of weird kids floating in a pool at some secret location that can see the future and know when you are going to perform an illegal act with your PC
Just what is this reality thing anyway? -

Isn't that a conflict of interest?
Something, that if this legislation ever did come in, could be used in court to overturn it. -

Can I be the first in line to light the fuse? -
I would love to hear what he's got to say about that.
-
you would think he would have something better to do,instead of wasteing taxpayers money on these stupid ideas!
hmmm,,how come he didn't destroy his own pc -
Better to be silent and be a fool than to speak and prove someone right.
