Hi,
I have just finished my first vid capture using a STB pci tuner card...I was able to capture my hi 8 mono sound camcorder at 320 x 240. video was ok but the sound gave a humming/hissing background. Is this because I have an intergrated sound on my motherboard.?..I plugged the camcorder sound into my microphone connecter on my pc. I did the capture with virtualdub as an avi file then converted it to mpeg1. I downloaded the sample NTSC vcd file from this site it looked great! It was bigger and wider with black borders top and bottom. How can I get my video to look like this? I have an Asus durn o/c 847 w/ 384 meg of ram..
Thanks in advance! Breeze
