What program are you using to capture?

  3. I have the same problem using the TV cable. I had to solve this conecting my videorecorder to the composite in of the card (video) and to the sound card (audio). The problem this way is that I need to change channel on the videorecorder, canīt do it with the Pinnacle card.

  4. j1d10t: im using the software that came with the card, pctv vision. do you recommend anything else?

luis: have you contacted the supplier to change the card at all and if so did the replacement work? ive had a good look through this site and cant find anyone else with the same problem. most people seem happy with their card.

I gave up on PCTV Vision, and ended up going with Studio 8. I was having problems with the program - that it would freeze up when I was capturing, so that's why I switched to Studio 8. You may want to download a trail version, just to see if you like it/see if it fixes your audio. Just a thought Good luck

  6. Because I solved the problem using the videorecorder as a source and cables to the composite video / audio in of the PCTV and sound card (my luck the videorecorder is close to the computer), I have not tryed to change the PCTV. I have a copy of Studio 8, and will check if works with this software.
