    Anyone have a simple free avi joiner that won't re-encode. I just have 3 .avi files I want to join. I found Easy Joiner but for $19, that's kinda steep for a one time use (installed it about 3 months ago to look at it now free trial expired). Virtual dub will join but it keeps re-encoding, is there a way to make Virtualdub join avi's without re-encoding/compressing. Thanks.

    d/l virtualdub from the tools section

    go to FILE - then OPEN - open avi # 1

    go to FILE - then APPEND AVI - open avi # 2

    etc.
    etc.

    Under VIDEO, select DIRECT STREAM COPY
    Under AUDIO, select DIRECT STREAM copy

    go to FILE - SAVE avi - rename and save
