free avi joiner error

hi all I have downloaded a free program to join avi files its called Free Video Joiner http://www.freevideojoiner.com/

I have 24 TV clips in avi format to join with this program put the output as DVD which I want, left it to join all 24 files over night. its all finished this morning but there is no 1 big file joined up. I have the output to same folder as the 24 x avi clips are its shows when running converting video format, and going through every avi listed like 24 but as i say no big file converted. would anyone know of a good free avi joiner, as its amazing me why this hasnt worked
