Hi,
Currently i have a geforce 2 GTS 64 meg card that i use to capture. I am going to purchase a ATI AIW Radeon 9700 pro and use it for capture as well other things.
My main motivation here is to capture video from old and new vhs tapes and create DVDs with menus etc... I Currently capture the video from the vcr with my Geforce2 and i use a stereo to rca connector to the line in on my sound blaster live value card. I know this card is 16 bit so if i buy an soundblaster audigy 2 24bit card will this allow me to capture sound at dvd standard 44khz ( or around there) ?
Reason why i am asking is i ran a test capture and after the capture (encoding) when i set audio to full processing mode in virtualdub and i go to the compression section -choose> Mpeg layer 3, i can only choose as high as 22khz, and the guide (from doom9) i was following indicated to choose 44+Khz.
Thanks in advance!![]()
