  2. Premiere does capturing and video editing, I don't think it has any authoring capabilities.

    yeah, you'd use Premiere to capture, edit and encode to mpeg-2 (unless you have other programs you like better for these purposes) then you'd import that mpeg2 file (or it's component, demuxed streams) into your dvd authoring software for authoring.

    Adobe has an authoring program on the way, called Encore... supposedly out this summer.

    Otherwise, you could use DVD Lab, Maestro or SpruceUp (if you can find and/or afford either), ReelDVD, etc. etc.

  4. Looks like Encore will be highly integrated with Phohoshop, Premiere and After Effects as far as taking native files for importing, just hope the price is easy on the very large but barely profitable pro/non-pro video editing community. If so I'm sticking with my old version of Sonic Fusion.

    I keep hearing $599 as the msrp for Encore...

    maybe they'll bundle an LE version with a burner.
