Here is the problem, I went into MY COMPUTER and noticed that my 60GB hard drive was showing details of having a 47GB capacity. So I went into my DISK MANAGER and seen that I had 13GB of unallocated space in my LOCAL DRIVE C. I dont know why this happened, I have been having this computer for about 1 1/2 years and nothing like this has ever happened. When I went to format the remaining 13GB it would only let me assign a new letter. My question is how can I rejoin it with the other 47GB to have the original 60GB.

    THANKS IN ADVANCE,

Partition Magic. <- That's a program, not a cruel joke telling you to use magic.
I'm not online anymore. Ask BALDRICK, LORDSMURF or SATSTORM for help. PM's are ignored.

The program is pretty easy. It fixes partitions on-the-fly without screwing up your system. I've used it, worked great for me.

  5. Go to Power Quest's web site and look up Partition Magic. They may have a users manual that you can download. You can buy the program at most computer stores, such as CompUSA, for under $50.00 US dollars. The program really does work and is well known to all advanced computer users. Before using the program, it might be a good idea to find out what caused this, because if it did it once to your system, it may do it again. Finding the cause is the hard part and could be caused by several things. Anyway, good luck!!!!!!!
