I ripped the first xmen disk to back it up using the newest version of dvd2svcd and tmpgnc.
I also updated to the latest nero, and my dvd player does not recognize the disk, but it did before the updates????
It seems to be burning a blank looking disk that the pc reads as nothing on it and the dvd player see's a blank disk?????But when I try to re-use the disk thinking its empty, nero claims its written on?Whats going on with that???
I am using nero to burn the cue/bin files if that helps at all?
did something change with updates or am I doing something wrong... In the past I have ripped about 40 dvds with NO issues till now??
Can anyone offer me some help????
Thanks
spankey?

I've had a similar problem since I bought Sony DRU500A DVD writer and took by Yamaha 16x CDRW out from my system. DRU wont write the disc in DAO mode but I have to use DAO/96 instead. For some reason, discs burned this way won't work on a friend of mine's player (they work fine for me).
So, in short make sure you have selected DAO mode when burning the image with Nero. -
Use Eazy Vcd from the tools menu, it never fails
