Hello! I have S8 and have used it to edit my movies. I am playing with the dvd menu and chapter creation part of it. Anyone here ever try it out and have great results? I was wondering if I should use Sonic MyDVD or DVD Complete instead (if easier to use?) of S8's own. I have experienced hangs and "no response" issues while trying to add menus/chapters to my videos on the timeline. Using 8.5 patch for S8. Anyone have this problem of the machine hanging or eventually getting a "no response" on S8?

I have the other 2 applications I mentioned. Was just wondering if they would be easier to use or have better results? Any feedback or suggestions would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.
    Thanks and regards,

  2. Yes I get good results with PS8 using Menus, Titles & transitions. What exactly do you need to know?
Maybe you should use the program that your most comfortable with!

Studio 8 is a nice program as far as the learning curve and some of it's features that it offers.

BUT - it is well documented on Pinnacle Systems web site (in their forums) that there are problems like this with the version 8 and 8.5 (or 8.5.21) .

If you are running it under WinXP, those problems are more evident. The best you can do is try the things that they suggest on their forums pages to get better response from the program.

Don't misinterpret what I'm saying, I like the program, I just wish they would be more responsive to fixing the problem instead of telling you that it's "your computer".... As much as I have read about it, there are a lot of the same concerns from other Studio users as well....
