Burning DVDRs should take:
1x - 60min
2x - 30min
4x - 15min
I suspect that the problem is that your burnding software doesn't think that your MPEG2 file fits the DVD standard and is trying to convert it, prior to burning it.
What's your source, what settings/programs are you using, and what are you trying to burn? etc.
If you source is the 25fps video clip and your burning software is converting and burning it, then 18hrs may or maynot be a long time depending on your CPU, encoder, settings, etc. -
ive changed film which ive down loaded to 29 and match audio to sync new frame rate. changed avi to mpeg 1 using tmpeg. but i cant understand why using instant cd+dvd it wont let me proceed? says it needs converting to mpeg first which is going to take 18 hrs. the film itself is only 1.2 gbs. can anyone help?
