What's the best progam to do this with, without losing any quality (or losing the least)? I tried with TMPGEnc Xpress, but it doesn't convert decently, and the audio track wasn't compatible (not much of a problem though). And then, a decent method to do MPG to VOB, as well?

    Thanks,

    Cyan.

VOB2MPG, you wont lose any quality.

TDA for MPG to VOB DVD or any other DVD Authoring tool, see the Tools list to the left in the menu.

  3. TDA also extracts, joins and saves VOB's to a single MPG file.

VOB's are already MPEG2 files... there really is no "conversion" going on when saving them as MPG.
