    Im trying to encode a video file back to VCd but when i load in TMPG it crashes and when i load into virtual dub to rip the audio i get "MPEG Import Filter: Pack Synchronization error".
    Ive tried loading into GSPOT to get some information but everything just says N.A.
    When i load into Windows Media player it does play the movie....can someone help?

    I have seen this error in Virtual Dub, when I tried to load a file with large resolution (e.g. 704 x 480), or when I tried to load a file that was MPEG-2. I would suggest using the Virtual Dub mod for MPEG-2. Look for it in the Tools section at left.
