    What's the difference between General Storage media and Authoring media? Can you play General media in DVD Players?

    Also does anyone know of a dvd media distributor for a retailer?

    This says it all.

    Many online DVD-R retailers carry Authoring discs too. I think meritline.com as well as allmediaoutlet.com and dvd-rwmedia.com have some.
