I had a NTSC SVCD made by a friend, which I wanted to put on a PAL DVD. I followed the above guide and the result looked good. However it was desynched with about 20sec, that is the audio comes 20sec late. How do I fix this the easiest way?

There is the possiblity that you can simply change the length of your audio to match the length of your video stream. Look for GoldWav, or some any other audio editor that will let you stretch your audio. If you do this, and it's still out of sync, then your in for a bit of hard work, as there is no easy fix. You can try to follow these instructions I posted a while back. It does work, but it's not for the squemish...
