  4. Just because its not available to the public doesn't mean that he didn't legally obtained it. He said he owned it. He is not breaking any rules. Having a pre-release DVD is not illegal. They give them to movie critics, ect. If it is his, then he has the right to back it up. Just because its pre-release, doesn't mean that fair use no longer applies.

Die Another Day has been for sale in the UK since Mon 2nd May.

Bought it. Ripped it. Just rip all the files with Smartripper and use full disk on DVD2ONE.

I wouldn't go that far.....for me it ranks along with the worst Bond films (Moonraker is at the top of that list): too much special effects trying to make up for an implausible plot.

I checked this thread this morning to see if it was warez. I found it to be on sale. Thus it is possible that he owns it.

If you are a critic then the copy they give you is not yours. And I believe they have instructions not to copy it. Thus if you do copy it, it is an illegal copy.

That is not always true. On the ones that say "This is the property of Such and Such studio" yes. Sometimes they just give you the DVD that is gonna be out in stores, early. And because you don't buy doesn't mean that its not yours. Promotional givaways.

    Erm.......yes.

What settings are you using for DVD2ONE?

    Use DVD+-R(W) = 4450MB for full disk.
