  1. Hi,

I have some problems with my S520. When I make a copy with DaVideo on DVD and have to split the DVD, the first DVD works but the second one not. When I try the second one on my xbox or my pc or some dvd's (not philips) it also works...

    Do anybody know this problem?!

    thx for help
    bye

    Hi,

I have a 520 and have experienced similiar issues. (ie DVD works on another player but not the 520)

I think the problem lies in the IFO file on the DVD - and the 520 seems particularly fussy about the navagation and VTS sectors. You can usually fix the problem by running the IFO through IFOEDIT with fix VTS sectors BEFORE you burn.

In short yes - I'm not familiar with "DaVideo" - if this software does everything for you and doesn't actually create a set of normal DVD files on your hard disc (ie it creates a disc 'image') then you can't go the IFOEdit route.

However, if it creates a standard set of DVD File (.VOB's with associated .IFO files) then you just need to load IFOEdit, load the appropriate IFO file, click save VTS Sectors, exit IFOEdit.

Then you need to make the DVD image in whatever burner software you use (the IFO should now be correct).

    I hope this helps...
