  1. Can someone let me know what the max resolution supported for this card is. I want to use it in VirtualDub and would like to capture avi's at 640x480 then convert to svcd with Tmpgenc. I tried searching this forum, but didn't see anyone list this. I know it does 720x480, but I beleive that is Mpeg2 format captures. I checked Ati's webiste, they list nothing. But for the Fury Pro 128, supposedly same card, no tuner, they say 640x480 for avi's. All other AIW cards list 320x240 max on Ati's site.
    Thanks

  2. I have the AIW 128 Pro, and I know that I can capture
    MPEG-2 & 1 at 640x480, but I don't do much with AVI.

I'm sure it does. (I'm at work now so I can't check)

    Hope that helps.

  3. I did find that info - that you can capture to mpeg1 and 2 at those formats. If you (or anyone) could let me know what they get for avi's, I'd be greatly appreciative.

  4. It is possible to capture AVI's @ 720x480. I have done it w/V-Dub. My computer is slow(700mhz) so I drop a lot of frames but it does work.
