  1. I am using MovieStar5 (I know it sucks, but its all that works for me, so I use it) and i have many GBs of captured videos in MPEG2 SYS format which is what my Dazzle DVD Creation Station puts out. Its all ready to be put on a DVD except that when I run it thru TMPGenc Authoring to change the audio my only choice other than PCM is MPEG2, which isnt compatible with my player. How can i convert this to AC3 and create the VOBs ready to burn?

    Thanks,

    Derek

already answered in your other post.

You'll have to demux your mpg files (try TMPG's mpeg utilities) to get a m2v and mp2 stream, then use AC3 machine to encode the mp2 to ac3.

You could also use Vegas Video or Acid Pro to encode to AC3. These tools produce better quality (IMO) but aren't free like AC3 machine.
