  1. hi, i have been reading this section for a hour or so , i had some questions i want to capture some from my vhs tapes and covert them into svcd's ...from i understood is that we can put around 780+mb of mpeg2 svcd compilant into a normal 80min cd-r . my questions are as follows

    1-can i add menus with it (780+mb)
    2-will it work on all dvd players
    3-how long is a 780 mb movie in minutes ?

    1. You can fit up to 795 MB on a 80 min SVCD. And you can add menus but then make the video around 790 MB and 5 MB the menus(it depend how advanced menus you want, like motions menus and audio).

    3. A 790 MB SVCD can be anything from 35 minutes to around 50-60 minutes with good quality(more minutes=less quality).
