I've had trouble burning VCDs (pixelation, blockiness etc) due to problems with my burner, but I discovered that I can just simply copy a Mpeg file onto a CD with nero and my DVD player will play it (no menus or chapters, but at least it plays it without problems).
My question is this: Previously I would convert my avi files using DVD2SVCD with a 800 CD size setting on the bitrate tab. No problem with VCDeasy, but now that I'm simply copying the mpeg file onto a disc will the fact that the file is 790MB be a problem? Or does the "its not the megs but the minutes that matter" rule apply in this case as well?
Many thanks in advance,
JDC

unless burning as VCD it must be under 700mb, unless you can overburn or have higher than 700mb media.....
