  1. Well, I am about to give up. I wasted about 20 CDs trying to get SVCD to play on my Pioneer 535. All I am doing is trying to burn standard compliant SVCD capturing in AVI with my DC30+ and then using TMPGenc and Nero latest version.

As before I keep getting jerky playing even if, as suggested, I went back to earlier versions of TMPGenc and started burning at x1.

Even worst, using beta 12 I get a comb like effect due to some strange interlacing problem. Now I am using TMPGeng f but it is as jearky as j.

I wonder what is the best TMPGenc version and is there a way to get this bloody SVCD playing properly on Pioneer 535 ????

    Thanks for your help

  2. I almost gave up too but keep going and it's great.
If the jerkiness occurs during motion scene then simply change the encoding field order (Advanced tab setting in TMPGEnc).
If it was odd (or field A) then change it to even (or field B) and vice versa.

  3. also the 3:2 pulldown may cause comb stuff. It did it to me on saving private ryan and I just shut it off and it worked.
