I've found plenty of sites that help out in this issue, but none that fixed my problem.
I RIPed a PAL 25fps DVD and then used DVD2AVI to extract the .dv2 and .wav files.. like I always do.
But this time, TMPGEnc won't load the .dv2 file. No matter how hard I try to make the Option->Environmental settings->VFAPI plug-in->DVD2AVI Project File Reader 1.77.3 ; at a hight priority.

Can someone lend a helping hand ?

    Thanks in advance!

Try adding the 'TMPGEnc MPEG2 Plugin' (m2v.vfp) and see if that helps.

It's in the TOOLS section on the left.

Does it matter that I only want to make a VCD and not an SVCD ?

  4. Have you recently changed any of the settings in TMPG? If you have, then reset them to the original settings. If not, try uninstalling then reinstalling TMPG.

    Nope, Nothing worked so far.
I tried re-installing TMPGEnc, tried getting the mpeg2 plugin (although I don't really know why I needed that for a .d2v file).

Any other ideas on how I might solve this?

  6. In the option setting, is "register TMPGenc.vfp to VFAPI" checked?

    To your question, Yes.
But I was just now able to fix it in DVD2AVI I had checked in the "help" the "VFAPI Plug-In". And checked the "Register TMPGenc.vfp to VFAPI".
After doing so, I'm now able to open the .d2v file again

Thanks for the help, and I hope this helps others that have the same problem.
