  1. I have a DVD-9 that I split (vts_01_0-vts_01_4 on disk 1 and vts_01_5 to vts_01_7 on disk 2 ). I also have a vts_02_1.vob (and the other files that go along with this one. The vts_02 file was not part of the original disk, but I want to add it to disk 1. This is a vob that has a "Please insert disk 2" screen. Does anyone have any recommendations on how I can add it to disk one? (i.e. I want to play the first half of the movie and then have that message come up? Thanks in advance?

  2. have you tried putting just the vobs of disc one in a folder and add the new vob then rename that vob to vts_01_5.vob.
then create new ifos with ifoedit, that should do it.

  3. This may be a stupid question, but do I just copy the vts_01_* files into a separate directory and rename my new file to vts_01_5? Or do I need the VIDEO_TS vob as well?

  4. just copy the vobs 1,2,3 and 4 to the new folder then add the other vob and rename it.

when you create the new ifos with ifoedit it will make fresh video.ifo and vts_01.ifos.

  5. That MAY work. However, to be safe, you should consider using VOBedit to make sure your VOB ID numbers are sequential. See the guides on joining VOBs.
