    I just discovered a neat little benefit of a dual system. I can capture at 640x480 resolution, compress with PICvideo mjpeg, surf the web, and frameserve from virtualdub to tmpgenc losing a minimal amount of frames. After ten minutes, my system only dropped three frames.

    Pretty cool, after all. I wasn't too impressed at the sheer speed of this system, but I'm learning just how much this baby can multitask.

    My capture program is even smart enough to go back and rewind my tapes to recover lost frames during capture... and that hardly happens at all

    Too bad this only works for digital cameras... :P
