    My Pioneer 104 (1.31 firmware) drive is reading my dvd blank media as Used 1.99gig ,I have tied using different types of media(Ritek + Monarch+White Label) but get the same problem'

    Any know of this problem.

    have you recently did a windows update, I am curious as I did one the other day and now my pioneer 104 doesn't work at all, Read or write anything

    No I haven't done a windows upgrade but I did a firmware upgrade so maybe I should take it back down to 1.20?

    you could try the 1.40 2x4all firmware , just a thought
