I'm good at converting files to VCD and all that other junk, but I have some MPG files I wanted to save in their original format. I know it's possible to save up to 800 MB of data on a 80 minute CD-R, but I've only been able to do it if I'm creating a VCD. I usually use Nero for all my CD burning needs. Any suggestions on how to go about doing this?

You can only save 700mb as data on an 80min cd.

You can make an XCD, which I think drops the error correction, allowing you to squeeze more data on, but with more risk of corruption.
Have a look at this site:

wait a sec... isn't there a way to make a bin & cue file for normal data and burn it in mode 2 to be able to get the fill amount of usable space
If XCD does that, nevermind...
