Hi,
I was wondering if it was possible to increase the volume in an AVI (DivX) file with a program?
Thank you

You'd have to re-encode with maximized volume settings.

Had this problem and ended up demuxing the video/sound...running the sound through Sound Forge 5 to up the volume and clean it up a tad, then re-muxing them back together...worked great but time-consuming and tedious...

If using Tmpgenc, i hear that you can crank up the volume in the advanced menu under the audio filter. Some ppl use 150% - i have yet to try this

You can bring the file into Vegas Video and then increase the volume and re-render it out.
