    can some one point me to a guide so i can atleast have some starting point...i wanna learn how to converting avi files into dvd/dvd-video compatible mpegs...to the tools i gotta use the sequence of events i must follow..holla back please

    You could also use an all-in-one authoring tool that converts, author and burn like ulead moviefactory, neodvd or some other. But if your source is letterboxed/widescreen it will be stretched and you may get audio sync problems if mp3 or ac3 audio.
