move your eyes a bit to the left here...and you see some green colors...move the mouse to the green...click in the middle where it says CONVERT....

Well, I followed those instructions listed under convertion section, but the problem is still there. Is TMPGEnc the correct tool? If yes, can your experts give some advise on the settings? I can't get the freeze problem solved. Many thanks!

Hi there, thanks for the info.! However, when I tried virtual-dub 1.3c to convert asf to avi format, it prompts me "couldn't locate decompressor for format 'wmv1'(unknown)", what does this mean? And how to solve it?
