    I have been doing some copy to copy (DVD'S) using different pieces of software and for some unknown reason it doesn't copy at the correct time.

    What should take 15mins @ 4x it takes about 30 mins and I can't work out why.

    I have been using nero for a long time and it's just started to play up on me and take forever to burn, so I tried RecordNow Max 4.50 and thats the same, yet at the start of the burn it tells me it's gonna take 13 mins(ish). I don't remember installing anything that could affect this problem so I am puzzled.

    Anyone have any problems or knows of a solution to this?

    is it a new batch of disc ?

    i bought some 1x disc before which had been mistakenly stamped with a 4x sign.
    they was sold at 1x so i knew.

    Try using the DVDInfo program it should give you all the info about the discs

    Go to Device Manager>Hard Disk Controllers and remove all controllers>reboot to have Windows redetect and set DMA.
