I have tried buring my own vcd's using the Prime Peripherals like the hardware lists says. They are 80min cds from Office Max, with no luck. Always says no CD.
I am using Roxio and have a generic burner. Any suggestions?

You might want to take a look at the info on DVD players and using CDR's and CDRW's on this site (http://www.vcdhelp.com/dvdplayers.php). Many CDR's do not have the reflectivity needed for optical pickup in DVD players.

I have also tried the Prime Peripherals and the PNY CDR. Neither worked. If you find an anwser let me know.

You can only use cdrw's with silver back, very common. Will only play vcd. Not svcd.
