I can tell you that based upon my personal experience that Pacific Digital does not like to pay it's rebates and the quality of their stuff is questionable.

Not sure on DVD-ROM, but their repackaging of Lite-On CD-R drives are great. I never had problems, with all aspects of the deal. So they make something good. I'd take a chance on their DVD-ROM if I needed another one.
I'm not online anymore. Ask BALDRICK, LORDSMURF or SATSTORM for help. PM's are ignored.

I have a PD DVD-ROM, and for me it works great.....i bought it about 2 months ago and have yet to have any problems with it. The 16x speed it superb when it comes to ripping dvd's to the hard drive. So i would give it a thumbs up.
