    hey im tryin to convert avi to svcd and i got a question about the sound.. on the bitrate calculators it asks about # of tracks.. is mono 1 track and stereo 2 track? or is stereo sound still considered 1 track .. plz respond

    I was trying to figure this out myself & my thoughts are that 2 channels is for stereo & one for mono. If you look under the Audio tab in dvd2svcd you will see a drop down tab that says output mode Stereo.

    Btw I forgot to mention under the Misc. tab select input file type avi. This will change your dvd2svcd to avi2svcd. In addition you will need to most likely select a Deinterlacer to make your avi look good.
