RecordNow - close disc or not

im using record now for putting the video_ts folder onto dvd+rw, i now want to burn onto dvd+r but under the option the default is not to close the disc but should i be closing the disc as i dont want to add to this disc after?

Yes, for the best compatibility with stand-alone DVD players, close the disc.

One of the reasons I stopped using record now 4.6 because I got tired of each and every time going in there and telling it to close the session. It never remembers your preferences.
