    Can people suggest software that is capable of doing Powerpoint type slide shows (with transitions, text motion, time delays, etc.) in a DVD authoring software?

    I doubt any DVD Authoring software have those capabilities. I suggest you use a editing software like Premiere or Vegas Video to create what you want...
