I originally posted this topic, accidentally, on another forum area. If you have already read this post on another section, please excuse my mistake.
I have a Sony DVD changer that reads the title and the DVD image from a DVD and displays them in a menu. This is similar to CDs that had track information embedded in them and displayed them in the LCD display. Currently, I have to manually type in the title for a movie if that information is not embedded in the DVD.
I noticed that the cover image is contained in the JACK_P folder and the title is taken from the VIDEO_TS.IFO file under the VMG_TXTDT_MG section. If you have a copy of Black Hawk Down, check it out. You'd know what I am talking about.
When I make a DVD backup of the movie only (minus menus, special features, etc), all this information is lost since new .IFO files are created. The cover image is easy enough to recreate, but I am stumped on recreating the title information.
If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it!
