  2. open tmpg > close wisard > click load svcd template > click load again > in the folder extras > click unlock.
this will now unlock the svcd template that comes with tmpg
now you can change to 2pass vbr, also click the setting button beside that
and change the min bitrate to atleast 300 instead of the default 0
you can now click save > name the template like movie.name.mcf
now when the wisard starts it will have your changed template in the selection area.
file > wisard > click your template
now you will be able to use tmpgs internal bitrate calculator to make sure your movie will not get to big for the cd
    * there are tons of settings uder settings tab, that you can now play with.
main things you want to play with are

under advanced video method chang the output file to what you want full screen, keep aspect ratio etc....

gop tab > click close gop, this will allow add chapter at a later time if you choose to.

under video tab > change motion search from normal to highquality atleast, this will take more time, but it will also produce a better quality encode.

advanced > source range, this will allow you to only encode part of the movie, eg.. like you have a 700mb avi and want to put it on 2 disks by selecting half the movie it will encode only that. if your useing the wisard then when you get to the end where it says > spesify output > uncheck encode imidealty and check > creat another project, this will reopen the wisard so you can load the second part and it will do a batch encode one after the other.

you can then play with the others and see what you like,

i would sugest you use the advanced > sorce range and test 5-10 mins of the file to see if the output is the way you want
