Media Player to Web Cam

Hi, Happy Easter to all. Can any one tell me how to play a video that is played using a video player software like windows media player or creative player directly to my webcam?

That is I want to show a video to my friends on chat like Yahoo Messenger using my webcam.

I've had success at this by feeding my TV out into my WinTV card (composite video to composite video) - the WinTV card is selectable as a web-cam with Yahoo Messenger.

Then open the Volume Control>change to Recording Control and select the Sum/Master input and level.

Media Player can't be used as a video source by Yahoo Messenger.

However with Windows Media Encoder you can set up your own streaming server - the video source can then be a webcam, tv card or even a common-or-garden video file.
