After much attempt and many headaches with motion blur on my captures, and after doing everyones tricks and no hows I found out what the problems was but I still don't know why. I was using Vdub to capture, at the bottom right of Vdub I had the frames per second at the default of 15. I found that if I change it to 29 it stopped the motion blur! Can someone help me by explaining why?

I'm in the UK and I find if I change it to 25f/p/s it works for me!
