Ive tried dvd2one. Didnt work to my satisfaction. I recently purchased dvd95. To my amazement, I couldnt tell the difference between the dvd and the compressed dvd. It does a 9 dvd to 5 standard. It took about 1 hour to do the compression. I have a fast computer, maybe thats why. Also, dvd95 comes with a 10 day money back guarantee if you dont like or it doesnt work. I wish i could get my money back for dvd2one. Give it a shot first. Coming soon it will compress just the movie, as of now it does the whole dvd with menus.

  2. 10 day refund..hmmmm I may just have to give it a spin with the new 1.23 version. I'm open-minded. All I care about is the main movie quality and nothing else compared to all three dvd2one, IC, dvd95copy. In IC I strip out all extras and keep only menus. In dvd95copy someone says you can reduce extras to 0% or 1% and you'll only get the movie. Can anyone post screenshot comparison of all three please?

  3. I think you still get the extras. They are just reduced to horrible quality. In other words it keeps the standard layout. I do know that a version to keep only the movie is coming.

BTW, 1.2.4 is out now. Here's the changelog.

    - fixed a small problem with a few DVDs, where it used to abort too early.
    - hopefuly fixed all audio problems now.

If nothing else you have to respect this guy's effort. He is for sure putting 110% into this program.

And getting richer I'm sure. I sure wish I could be on the receiving end of some simple little program that the whole world needs.

  10. You can select what audio streams you want to keep.

  11. I have only used DVD95 one time so far and the quality looked very good to me plus it only took 47 minutes to do a 7.8GB DVD file which is a bunch faster than Instant Copy.

Question about audio streams, some DVD's use the second stream(0x81) for the 192Bit audio stream. If you select the 0x81 stream as your only audio stream will it autoplay when inserted into a DVD player?
Does DVD95COPY write a corrected ifo file to change the 0x81 stream to 0x80 to allow autoplay of the audio stream?

P4-2.53GHz with 1GB of PC2700 and Radeon 9700 pro video and running WinXP. The only movie I did was one I made from a VHS capture then converted to a DVD VIDEO_TS file using MovieFactory2 which resulted in a total file size of 7.8 or so GB so DVD95 Copy did a fine job of fitting that onto a single disc.

  16. The 'obvious' would have been to run a search for DVD95Copy on Google or any other search engine.

  17. Well after trying out DVD95Copy compare it to DvD2One v1.1.2

DvD2One wins hands down for me keeping all extras complete disc
