Aver DVD Easy Questions

The Aver DVD Easy is a great card for the price and captures MPEG1 and MPEG2 without any problems on my system. I primarily bought this card to achive my old home videos on DVD.

Does anyone know a program or drivers that will allow it to capture AVI at high res? I like to use Pinnacle Studio 8 and it will only allow AVI capture at 320x240.

What's the best program for editing and authoring when working with MPEG2 files?

iuVCR is the one that works for me and Aver ezDVD. See Tools on left. I used drivers that came with card and can capture 640x480 and sometimes 768x576 with no frameloss on athlon 1800. I tried the Freeware capture programs and got sync probs.
