  1. hi i was wondering if anyone here could help me with something I have an avi video and a wav audio i want to put them together but i would like to know a good program besides TMPGEnc cause mine doesnt work properly.
    Please help if you can.

    Are you making a VCD/SVCD/DVD and need to encode an mpeg 1 or 2?Mainconcept and Cinema Craft Encoder spring to mind, demo versions are available. There are other inferior products out there too. Check in the Tools section (over there <-<-<- ) for mpeg encoders.

    TMPGEnc is widely used by people on this site. It's reliable and gives great quality. If you post your problem maybe someone can help.

  3. Thanks for replying Im making a music video vcd. There music videos from a VHS tape that i converted to avi the reason the audio is wav is cause I had to use cool edit to make it sound better. Anyway to do with TMPGEnc when I try to encode my video is pops up saying its unsupported and I dont know what to to.

    Using a wav file for the audio source is fine, that's what I always use, it's recommended. Are you using this guide: https://www.videohelp.com/tmpgenc.htm There's a section near the bottom of the page on common TMPGEnc problems.
