  1. Ok I have been using the toolkit to author and burn my new created mpegs as stated in the guide, and they are then accepted and builded by the phillips toolkit.

Is there a way how I can de-multiplex my non compliant vcds to a .mpv and .mpa and then run them through a program to correct the gop headers so there will be no errors when vcd mux mux's it with the audio? I've already tried MPEG corrector but vcd mux still reports errors.

    Thanks.

Demux in TMPGEnc Tools, rename the m1v to mpv and rename the mp2 to mpa. Once you do this and load the mpv in the VCDMux, if the mpv and the mpa have the exact same name, the mpa will autoload. Then mux!

  3. I have tried this many times and I still get fatel error messages when I mux with vcdmux, but the worst thing is that when vcdtoolkit makes my image, it crashes when it convets the mpeg to a mpegav.
So therefore I need a way to correct the gop headers of the non compliant vcds without have to re-incode, then mux with vcd mux.

I cannot understand why it states in the vcdtoolkit guide that many non compliant vcds can be de-multiplexed and then muxed with vcdmux to be compliant?

I've downloaded that program and tried to use it once. I was worried to go to far without having any software to burn the images it makes. I couldn't understand how to make a simple VCD, a one mpeg track VCD, so I gave up and went back to VideoPack 4.
