  1. Hi,
I tried converting a .mov file (8 MB) in TMPEG into an .mpeg file. THe original file was rendered using a sorenson video 3 codec.THE output from TMPEG is 11Mb with a little(negligible) loss in quality.WHat could the reason be, for the increase in file size? Any suggestions on h ow to get a lossless output from TMPEG with the same or less file size as the original file?
    Cheers,

Size changes b/c your changing file types and bitrate changes. to increase quality try multiple passes, w/ lower average bitrate. are you trying to make vcd or svcd? Quality will never be better than source though.
