I'm looking for a DVD-R drive for my parents, but unfortunately I haven't been able to find anything even close to the deal that I got mine for ($150). Does anyone have the inside track on a great deal on one of these, or when they might be doing their rebates again? I'd be happy finding it for under $200. Thanks in advance.

The cheapest I have seen lately is $224 for the Pioneer 105 at supermedia.com
You can buy a 4x DVD+R NEC drive here for $161. I bought one and it seems to be a nice drive so far.

Keep watching the OfficeMax and Fry's ads. The 104 was on sale, but they ran out, so OfficeMax gave me a 105 for the same price and I got the $50 rebate too. Final cost was $170 after tax.
